Luis Mario Garza was born on February 22, 1974, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
He played a few years with the band Limite, a regional group of northern Mexico, with which he made three albums, performing mostly in the north of Mexico, the USA, and Central and South America.
After four years of work with Limite, he began to play with Priscila y sus Balas de Plata. In 1999, after only five months with Priscila, he assumed his present position as drummer of the band Pesado.
With Pesado, he has played for almost 10 years, during which time he has visited almost every corner of Mexico and the USA. Luis Mario has recorded 18 albums with Pesado, which has been nominated two times for a Latin Grammy and twice for an American Grammy. |
